All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Payments are processed securely through Wix and its third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card information on our servers.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders affected by such errors.
5. Shipping, Pickup, and Risk of Loss
5A. Order Processing Time
Orders are processed within 3 to 7 business days unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Business days are Monday through Friday and exclude federal holidays.
During peak seasons, product launches, kidding season, harvest periods, or promotional events, processing times may be extended. If a significant delay occurs, we will notify you using the contact information provided at checkout.
Custom, made-to-order, or small-batch items may require additional processing time. Estimated timelines will be provided in the product description when applicable.
5B. Shipping Rates and Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
Package weight and dimensions
Shipping destination
Selected shipping method
We may offer:
Flat-rate shipping on select products
Free shipping promotions for qualifying orders
Local pickup options when available
Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been processed and transferred to the carrier.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address entered at checkout is accurate. Additional fees resulting from incorrect addresses, returned shipments, or re-delivery attempts are the responsibility of the customer.
5C. Domestic Shipping
We ship within the United States using major carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on package size and delivery location.
Estimated domestic transit times after shipment:
Standard Shipping: 3 to 7 business days
Expedited Shipping: 1 to 3 business days
Transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated by the carrier.
5D. International Shipping
International shipping may be available for select non-perishable products where legally permitted.
Estimated international transit times vary by destination and carrier.
Customers are responsible for:

Import taxes

Brokerage fees
Compliance with local import regulations
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, import restrictions, or foreign postal systems.
Certain products, including food items, seeds, livestock-related goods, or regulated agricultural products, may not be eligible for international shipment.
5E. Perishable and Farm-Based Products
Perishable goods are shipped using appropriate packaging methods; however, temperature control and handling conditions once in carrier possession are outside our control.
We do not guarantee against carrier-related temperature exposure, transit delays, or spoilage caused by extended delivery times.
Perishable items are final sale unless damaged during transit and reported within 48 hours of delivery.
5F. Tracking and Delivery
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number when available.
Delivery is considered complete once the carrier marks the package as delivered. We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or delivery failure, re-shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
5G. Service Interruptions and Force Majeure
Shipping timelines may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including:
Severe weather events
Natural disasters
Carrier service disruptions
Labor shortages or strikes
Public health emergencies
Government actions or regulatory delays
We are not liable for delays caused by these events. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant disruptions when known.
5H. Right to Modify Shipping Terms
We reserve the right to modify shipping methods, carriers, rates, and policies at any time without prior notice. Changes will not affect orders already confirmed and processed.
6. Livestock Sales
Livestock sales are subject to separate written agreements where applicable.
Deposits for livestock may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
Health testing information is provided to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale. Buyers are responsible for proper transport, quarantine, and veterinary care after transfer.
7. Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of farm products, food items, custom goods, and livestock, all sales may be final unless otherwise stated.
If a product arrives damaged, you must notify us within [48 hours] of receipt with documentation.
Approved refunds, if any, will be issued to the original payment method.
8. Intellectual Property
All branding, logos, photographs, blog content, and product descriptions are the intellectual property of Cardinal Hills Homestead and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cardinal Hills Homestead shall not be liable for:
